Feminism is among the most powerful ideologies in the political landscape today.

Opinions on it vary widely among partisan groups, but increasingly, scholars are turning the tools of economics on its basic claims to assess their truth or falsity.

One such scholar is the esteemed Bryan Caplan. Bryan is Professor of Economics at George Mason University and a New York Times Bestselling author. He's written "The Myth of the Rational Voter", "Selfish Reasons to Have More Kids", "The Case Against Education", and "How Evil Are Politicians?", among others.

His latest book is "Don't Be a Feminist", and that's what we wanted to discuss with him. The book is addressed as a series of letters to his daughter. After she was born, he began thinking seriously about feminism because he knew someday she would have questions.

The conclusions of his research are what we discuss in this interview.

We hope you enjoy this episode on why you shouldn't be a feminist with Bryan Caplan!
