These fascinating questions lie at the intersection of emerging neurotechnologies and law. Luckily, so does our guest this week, Dr. Allan McCay.
Allan is Deputy Director of The Sydney Institute of Criminology and an Academic Fellow at the University of Sydney's Law School. He coordinates the Legal Research units at the Sydney Law School, and lectures in Criminal Law.
Named as one of one of the most influential lawyers of 2021 for his work on neurotechnology, he is a member of the Management Committee of the Julius Stone Institute of Jurisprudence at the University of Sydney, an Affiliate Member of the Centre for Agency, Values, and Ethics, at Macquarie University, and a member of the Minding Rights Network (an international group who are working on human rights challenges related to emerging technologies).
He's an outstanding thinker with deep expertise who's really getting to the heart of some of the issues which will face us in the future. We hope you enjoy this episode on neurotechnology and the future of law with legal scholar Alan McCay!
