Before receiving his PhD in 2022, Steve Kommrusch earned over 30 patents in the field of computer hardware design working on silicon chips for computer graphics, high-performance compute, and power-efficient CPUs at Hewlett-Packard and AMD. Steve’s PhD work focused on using sequence-to-sequence models for machine learning applied to computer-aided programming.
